Photo1  .  at the mall

Photo 2 .  at the beach

Photo 3,   . the elegant  Grand Place Hotel

Photo 4.   The el-Helou Intt'l Hotels - also on the pure white sand beaches  of this place... . .

Add comments about these market scenes?  Bonus!

Bulk humanitarian food aid is for sale or distribution, near or in front of UNRWA headquarters.

But man cannot live by bread alone. He needs somewhere to store it . . . .

Nyo!  OK: . This photo is the giveaway answer. So, yes, here we are, in
Gaza, Hamas occupied Gaza Strip,
Between a rock and a hard place, and the deep blue sea . . . ARE SWIMMING POOLS!

A larger family residence,,,

or COZY COUPLE or  family unit,

or , one of the in-City, community pools.

WRITE IN:  Israel and Jordan established water sharing in the Peace Treaty of 1994 and between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the Oslo Accords.
More BONUS QUESTIONS:
How much fresh water did Israel  commit to give the people in Gaza & the West Bank ?
Did the amount allocated change with the extended drought?
No. So, While Israel is fining people who water their gardens or those who  use a hose not a bucket
to wash their cars.....Gaza, the desert gem is emerald green with its peace water. & that negotiator went back to school to study ecology!

AT the same time:
$2 billion was pledged to the PA internationally:  50 percent came from Europe, 25 percent from the United States, 10 percent from Japan, and  5 percent ($125 million) from the Arab world (basically Saudi Arabia and the UAE).  It is estimated that Hamas gets as much from the radical Islamic groups throughout the world.

so, if not by the sea, or the poolside, then how about a drive over the one of Gaza's expansive malls

just for perspective:

CAN YOU FIND Israel on this map of the Middle East in geographic context?
CAN YOU FIND  Gaza?    Hint: it is on the Mediterranean Sea, facing west (we've seen the beaches, hotels, malls, schools, and some of the homes, markets,....)

Let's focus in to make this easier  to see
What do you see?  Have you found Gaza?  Look back at the original map above for a hint.....

Now, let us blow up (so to speak) this image, that is focus in onto the Gaza Strip, and see it from the perspective of the UNRWA -- the United Nations Relief and Welfare Agency, whose work is with Gaza and the West Bank , solely.
Not with the millions of refugees fleeing from and out of Africa, some thousands actually walking from Sudan (and elsewhere)  fleeing through  Egypt, the Sinai and  avoiding Gaza for Israel proper?
Any thoughts?

The hardest material is not diamond; it is opinion

It has been said that the hardest thing to change is one's mind. Perhaps it is a matter of 'pride', the need to be right has a nasty way of trumping the need to be correct, to remain open to the evidence. But, to be fair, when misinformation is an industry.... OK OK. Enuf said.  More photo "facts on the ground":

"pollution is in all the water"  "infant mortality is the highest in the world"

"population density forces desperate housing solutions"

"the impoverished masses find ingenious solutions to their desperation"

...... continues, and continuing

WARNING: these photos may force you to change your mindng 'reality'

HERE IS ANOTHER TRY TO Guess Where We Are!

There are many hints and identifying (re)marks embedded in the previous pages.
Perhaps a few more photos would help lift the veil -- on consciousness... Not women only .....

"children dying of malnutrition"

Turkey to the rescue with a "massive aid flotilla"

"inhumane population density"

"starvation rampant"

"cannot meet minimum sanitation standards"

"basic crippling needs unmet"

"blockade forcing people to live like animals"

"close to living in Hell" -- so let's cool off in the air conditioned library, in the computer room

"no safe drinking water"  Giardia is endemic

Still guessing?   Perhaps a few more photos would  help clarify                ...continued.....

Reality shifts, or so it seems

WE live in a world, where virtual has made a bid to trump virtuous.; a world of instantaneous information based on image rather than Knowledge that interfaces&expresses the mind as much as matter, without shedding much insight into either. And, the more we hear and see, the less we 'Know," unless we make the effort not to be deluded.
Relying on scientific method--the best tool that we've got to calibrate 'reality,'  Let us take a look at one of the greatest illusions of this century:  massive, worldwide, invasive. If Houdini lived today, he would be in awe.

Perhaps you have traveled to places in the Arab world, so maybe you can guess where these pictures were taken. No photoshop images; stark reality, facts on the ground.
The answer and the photo credits are at the end, where the end is actually still in the middle....

Recall descriptions such as  "impoverished"  "under strict curfew"  "open air prison" and still worst trying to hold its own description as "the worst humanitarian crisis in the 21st century

Recall "the most densely populated place in the world"

...now look a little closer . . . and the density is no greater than any other seaside city, e.g., NYC, London,

"suffering,"  "an open air prison,"  "living without hope"

"suffering from harsh even brutal import restrictions... preventing building, commercial growth and development "

"plagued by unemployment.  Kept from natural progress"

 "oppressed"

"degraded"

"humiliated"

In need of a unique UN relief, welfare and monitoring body "to assure its survival " granted to no other region nor nation in the world, some many orders of magnitude more chronic, more tragic

"constantly fighting off devastating disease for lack of basic medicines and foodstuffs"

"deprived of construction materials to meet basic human needs"
